Scholarly collaborations facilitated by the UW-Center for Nonprofits include projects related to:
Starting in September 2010, the UW Center for Nonprofits is exploring community organizational roles in addressing health disparities through research funded through the UW Institute for Clinical and Translational Research. The project is titled “The Role of Organizations and Interorganizational Relationships in Reducing Disparities in Infant Mortality.”
Another project of the Center for Nonprofits included analysis of a unique community based collaborative advancing community nursing capacity within the Dane County, Wisconsin area. The final report on this project entitled "Case Analysis - First Year Launch and Operations -- The Center for Nursing Excellence / Nursing Skills Simulation Project." This report includes more details on this innovative model of nonprofit health organizations leveraging their assets to impact nursing education in their community.
